BioThe spirited and determined taijutsu specialist of Team Gai and Gai Maido’s favorite student, Rock Lee was one of the top four most powerful Konoha gennin of his generation. Back in his academy days though, he was the worst student of his class with absolutely no ability in Ninjutsu or genjutsu and below average ability in Taijutsu. However, in spite of this, he refused to give up, concentrating all his effort onto his taijutsu training. Eventually he got good enough to graduate from the academy on the strength of his taijutsu alone. He ended up on the same team as Neji Hyuuga and TenTen, which was headed by Gai Maido. Gai had already had his eye on Lee before he graduated and he focused most of his teaching on Lee. Lee also made a rival in Neji who at the beginning thought that Lee would never really amount to anything, because of his in ability to use ninjutsu. Lee, however managed to go on to become a very powerful fighter with unbelievable strength and speed. He even managed to be the first person to ever hurt Gaara in a fight during the chuunin exams, though he was unable to actually defeat him. Lee’s one goal in life is to become an outstanding ninja through hard work and determination alone. He some day wishes to beat Neji in a fair fight and prove that hard work can defeat genius potential.
Lee is very honest, honorable and enthusiastic and of course hard working as well as very polite to everyone, including his enemies. He has a very close relationship with Gai and isn’t all that un-inclined to public displays of affection with him. He is good friends with Naruto and harbors a crush on Sakura. As of this time, Lee is a chuunin and he still works with Team Gai.
In Avoria, Lee’s enhanced physical abilities and endurance have not been affected at all, but he has no access to the chakra gates and there fore he can’t use his more powerful techniques.
